Meet Brie, Mother of Cheeses, Lover of People, Sweetest Girl Ever.
Upon arrival in Lynnwood this spring, Brie promptly gave birth to 5 perfect kittens. She raised them in foster care, imparting all of her knowledge on the secrets of cats, managing people, and the meaning of life. (She says it's not 42.). Now that the kids are ready to take on their own homes and people, Brie is looking for someone interested in belonging to the sweetest, nicest cat on the planet and sharing their home and life with her. Looking for a loyal friend? A soft, cuddly confidant? Unconditional love. You really should meet Brie.
Brie is located in the Bellevue PetSmart and can be seen during their normal business hours. We’d love to introduce you to this sweet feline friend—just send us an email at cats@whiskersinneed.org to set up a meet-and-greet.

Gemelli came to us to raise her kittens in foster care. She has been a wonderful mommy to her kittens and is ready to find a forever home. She is sweet and a little wary of people and will need an experienced cat person (or persons) who will be patient and kind as she adapts to a new home. Her daughter, Fettuccini, is quite bonded with her and they might do well going home together.
To learn more or to make an appointment to meet them in their foster home, please email us at cats@whiskersinneed.org.

Sweet Songbirds! Meadowlark (orange) and Magpie (dilute torbie) came to us when their owner moved overseas and could not bring them. Initially apprehensive about the change, they have since settled, becoming friends with the humans and cats in their foster home, and are now ready to find permanent homes. This brother/sister duo is a pleasure. At approximately five months old, they are still in the kitten phase - discovering life, finding cozy snuggling spots, captivated by new toys, and refining their feline/human interaction skills.
She is located in the Lynnwood Petco and can be visited during normal business hours. We’d love to introduce you to these sweet feline friends—just send us an email at cats@whiskersinneed.org to set up a meet-and-greet.

Found as an emaciated kitten and taken to a local vet, Prickly Pear is thriving in foster care. This once bedraggled, starving boy is now a stunningly soft, squeezable bundle of happy kitten energy. Peary is everything a kitten should be - curious, energetic, ready to pounce, bounce, and rocket about the house. He wants a playmate – feline or canine, he’s good with both. Of course, he loves a good feather or wand toy, is attracted to crinkly balls and kickers, and thinks cat trees are fantastic! Once he’s burned off all that energy, he’s ready for cuddles and hanging out with you. If you’re up for a fun time, Peary would be the purrfect pick. This little charmer would love to get together with you to discuss a lifetime partnership.

Mascarpone is a mellow girl, but she does have a playful side. She's shy at first, but once she warms up, she'll purr like crazy and take over your lap. Mascarpone and her sister Petit Suisse need to be adopted together, and you'll enjoy twice the love. If you have a quiet home and are seeking two kitties who are always down to cuddle, Mascarpone and Petit Suisse are your perfect match.
To learn more or to make an appointment to meet her in her foster home, please email us at cats@whiskersinneed.org.

Meridian is a fluffy black and white cat who came to us with her two kittens, Magellan and Hillary, in May. She did wonderfully in foster care, showing her babies how to hunt catnip mice, feather wands, and ambushing them from inside cardboard boxes. She is a sweet and loving girl who will head-butt your hand for pets, and flop on her side for belly skritches. Meridian is almost a kitten herself, so she loves to play & chase toys (and your fingers!), and will happily lounge in the windowsill watching the world go by. She especially likes to “gekgekgek” at passing crows.
To learn more or make an appointment to meet her, email cats@whiskersinneed.org.

Gretsch is the ultimate snuggler with a dash of adventure. He loves to play and explore, but at the end of the day, nothing makes him happier than curling up in your arms. His soft fur, sweet personality, and soulful presence make him a strong candidate for “soul cat” – the one you didn’t know you were waiting for. Gretsch can be a little bold in exploring (he might try to follow you out the door) but he balances bravery with plenty of cuddles. Whether watching TV with you or tucked against your chest purring, Gretsch is a kitten full of love, loyalty, and joy, He is going to be happiest with one of his siblings or another playful young kitten by his side as he adventures through life. Gretsch is at the Lynnwood Petco and would love to meet you!

These toasted marshmallows are as tasty as their names. S'mores and Fluffernutter were rescued from a burning brush pile as tiny babies. Rushed to Adams County Pet Rescue, they were mildly singed but not burned, so they came over the mountains to us for foster care. Along with needing to be bottle fed, they developed ringworm, which required lengthy treatment before they were spay/neutered and ready for adoption. With all this in the past, this bonded pair is flat out perfect for someone looking for new feline friends. Well socialized, high energy, playful and friendly, at 4 months old, they are still kittens but starting to gain some common sense and the wisdom that comes with getting older.Tthese two special kittens are at the Issaquah Petco and can be visited during store hours.

Knox is simply delighful! This spunky, inquisitive boy is both playful and cuddly. A lover of all the toys, he enjoys snuggling up with you and being petted when he's not playing. He's comfortable with other cats, dogs, and respectful children. This well-behaved tiny tiger would be a great addition to any cat-loving family. To learn more about Knox or make an appointment to meet him in foster care, please email cats@whiskersinneed.org.

Mama Mia and her baby, Knox, were rescued from the backpack of an unstable individual and taken into foster care by a very kind person. At first, Mia was cautious and leery of people; however, she has since blossomed into an affectionate, friendly, young cat. She enjoys being brushed, and will reward you with a delightful purr. Her gentle nature is truly remarkable given her chaotic early life and motherhood. Mia is comfortable interacting with respectful dogs and children; however, because she has been caring for her kitten, she has not been tested with other cats. Mia is ready to find her forever home with a family who will cherish and protect her for the rest of her life. For more information or to schedule a meeting with Mia, please email cats@whiskersinneed.org.
