Gemelli needs a very special person. She came to us to raise her kittens last spring. She was extremely fearful and scared of humans and remained in foster care for socialization after her kittens were adopted.
She enjoys being around other cats and tends to tuck herself into quiet hiding spots with the least human traffic. She can be petted but prefers to seek attention on her own schedule. She will ask you (politely) for food, please. Her foster family believes Gemelli would be happiest in a quiet home with other cats but without kids, in a house where she can do her own thing, socialize with cats, and find her preferred quiet spaces.
If you are an experienced cat person with room in your home for quiet girl who needs patience, TLC, and the companionship of other cats, please email cats@whiskersinneed.org.

Jaiyana is a timid girl and needs someone who understands she’ll need time and patience to blossom into the secure, cuddly sweetheart we know her to be. She loves sunbathing on windowsills or perches, enjoys watching the world go by, thinks catnip treats are the BEST thing ever, and is an altogether lovely little lady. She should be okay with another respectful cat, has no experience with dogs that we are aware of, and would probably find energetic little children frightening. This tiny tabby plays with wand toys, catnip toys, and sometimes plays kitty soccer with springs and balls

Another of the Treecats, Moon Dancer is the most courageous, curious, and energetic of the family. She plays hard, rumpusing with her sisters, chasing ghosts, her tail or whatever she can find that moves. She enjoys being involved in everything and will keep you laughing at her antics. When she winds down and you pick her up. she will turn up her purr and crash hard, snuggled in your arms. Moon is ready to continue her journey into cat-hood accompanied by one of her sisters, You will not regret taking a pair of these little ladies into your life, trust us.

Golden Eye is the perfect blend of kitten energy and purring sweetness. Abandoned in a box at Adams County Rescue the Treecats have been in a wonderful foster home learning just how good it can be to live with humans, (If you are not familiar with Treecats, they can be found in the Honor Harrington science fiction series by David Weber) Goldie enjoys the usual kitten toys, games, wands, and siblings as well as quiet cuddles with people. What more could anyone want in a kitten/cat? This girl had a rough start in life and would appreciate having at least one of her sisters accompany her to her new home and family. When it comes to kittens, Take Two!
